Dr Charlotte Higgins is an Associate Director at Arup, and leads electricity network modelling and innovation. Charlotte has over 20 years’ experience in the energy industry and has expertise in the planning and operation of electricity networks from a technical perspective. She also has extensive knowledge and experience of the regulatory, economic and commercial challenges and drivers to net zero energy system development and evolution. Charlotte provides strategic analysis and advice for energy system transformation and investment to electricity networks, energy regulators, government, developers and investors.
Charlotte has a strong track record in innovation and has led and contributed to a number of ground- breaking electricity network and whole energy system innovation projects. She is passionate about sustainability and achieving a fair and equitable energy system for all.
